Hook, Line, and Sinker by Tessa Bailey
4.5
In the months following the end of It Happened One Summer, Hannah and Fox have established a strong long distance friendship. So when Hannah heads back to Westport for work, she doesn’t think twice about staying in Fox’s spare bedroom. But now that they are sharing his space, the lines of friendship and flirtation begin to blur.

I knew going into this book that I would love this one more than the first because I LIVE for a good ‘friends to lovers’ story and I was not disappointed. This book genuinely had me swooning from the very start of the prologue. The way that Hannah and Fox connect through music, and push each other to face their insecurities was so pure and genuine. It’s so clear from the beginning that they care for each other so deeply which made the progression of their relationship feel so natural.
If you love a good ‘friends to lovers’ book, this is an absolute must! I mean the banter, the tension, the will they won’t they of it all, was truly everything I could have wanted from this book and more.
You’ll definitely want to pick this one up come March and be ready to fall in love with Fox!
