Okay, considering all the 5 star books that I've read this year I cannot give this one more than 4.5 stars. It was so good, such a page-turner!
That being said, there were also moments where I cringed and some cultural references that pinged my heart and I could live without them (I'm so sorry Taylor Swift). I'm also putting it along other YAs and maybe this one is the one I enjoyed the most. Most of them have overuse of social media and phones overall so that part missing in Ann Liang's book was a relief.
The part I wish was explained better is the one where she gets "cured" from being invisible. I honestly think that could have been put into words better instead of leaving us wonder why and how did this happen. Maybe that's the only plot hole I wish I could have read more into? I don't know. My mind was too busy lusting over Henry. It's always the Henrys (reference to TSH).
And with that, my 100th book is read!
Edit: I checked and it's Ann Liang's debut novel, this I'm changing my rating to 5 stars.
