Gideon is at his brother's wedding, knowing he has to fulfill his own obligation to get married so he can take control of his family's business. Everything seems run of the mill until Rhian and her cousin crash the wedding. Gideon's best friend Amon convinces the two women to take an impulsive trip to Vegas where Gideon and Rhian (who has her own reasons for wanting a husband), end up married. But now what?

I LOVED this book. The first thing I loved was that even though Gideon "needed" to get married for his family business and Rhian "needed" a husband for her bucket list, this was never a marriage of convenience book. Gideon stood on business the entire time, and Rhian's shyness and reticence about letting him in tore at my heart when I realized why. I was glad she gave herself a chance to be happy and let her guard down. The supporting cast was wonderful and the families saved the day. Gideon was a husband from start to finish, and didn't waver on his love or passion for his wife. His family business was a heavy load, especially after the betrayal and Rhian having her doubts was understandable. But the two of them together, their banter and chemistry, the way they eased into each other lives and then refused to let go was such a great story. I was engrossed from the beginning, and this is going in my top ten of 2024.
