I picked this book up from the library because I read a different book by this author a few years back (One Trillion Dollars, which I overall enjoyed more than not, although the book was way to long for the story it was telling) and also because I wanted to read a book that was originally written in my native language (German), cause I feel like with all the English content I'm consuming I'm somewhat losing my ability to express myself in my native language. ;)

So I saw this book in the Sci-Fi / Fantasy section of my library and I picked up. First of all I would definitely not call this a Science Fiction book, yes it has a sci-fi element but that kinda boils down to only one plot device and the main part of the book is like a crime-thriller with some adventuring.

I felt the characters in this book were really blant and none of them really caught my attention. The overall plot was interesting though but I felt it was moving along to slowly and found myself bored a lot of the time and having to put the book away. The religious themes were pretty annoying mainly because I'm not a religious person and I really didn't care but I guess I should have seen that coming with a book called "Jesus Video".

The way the story wrapped up was kinda neat. But that only made a slight bump up to my overall disenjoyment of this book. I probably won't read another book by this author in the future
