One of my favorite books- very creative, great characters, action and romance. I love the idea of two different colored eyes signaling a Graceling and that you have to figure it out as you age and that it can be nuanced as “survival”. I also like Fire a lot but this is my favorite for being the first and just the storyline speaks to me most, especially with the twists like Po and Katsa. I love that the author wrote multiple books in this world but I wish for more of Po and Katsa’s story in the future. I love Katsa standing up for young women learning to defend themselves, reminds me of Celeana from Throne of Glass.
