This was a book that had so much potential, and sparks of brilliance especially the beginning which threw us straight into the action and in the cast of secondary characters which were far more interesting in my opinion than the main characters. Unfortunately the pacing lagged far too much in the middle, and while it picked up towards the end, it left it feeling as though the plot was going nowhere and combined with the main characters not really grabbing me, I ended up struggling to finish this one. The premise was brilliant though.
