What a painfully beautiful way to start 2024. A curious and mythical story that reminded me of the terrible yet wonderous fae, the curses and blessings that they lay. I loved how the story surprised me multiple times. The characters had enough depth to leave me questioning, curious. These types of stories always make me feel as if magic has been nearby all along, and my eyes are starting to notice.
