So. I didn’t even originally plan to read this one since the first one was meh for me, and I can honestly say I could have done without reading this duology. This book is very, very, very heavy on rape. It’s a huge part of the plot and Adeline’s character arc, but I hated it. But I liked after she was rescued and how the 2 main characters’ relationship grew and how they exacted revenge.
