The thing about reading a book that’s been on hold at the library for a long time is that you forget what drew you to the book in the first place. When I started it, I was thinking why did I want to read yet another tech utopia/STEMinist book.
BUT. This isn’t that at all. This is sort of the opposite of it. I liked that it explored what it might be like to be a woman in these sorts of spaces. There was a part in the middle where it reminded me of Uncanny Valley. And yet, because it’s a comedy of sorts, everything had to be tied together with a bow at the end.
