Anxious People by Fredrik Backman

4.0

it would be a lie to say that I understood the plot. I think there were too many characters and I kept getting lost and not fully grasping neither the main plot nor any of the multiple characters and their subplots. I think that dense chunck of information made it confusing to keep up with.

but………BUT somehow I underlined so much of this book. I think almost in every chapter (and there are 75) there was some form of profound philosophical existential relational touching reflection on the character dynamics that truly felt to me like what I think other people got from the midnight library. And I really couldn’t explain how even to myself but soley because of those paragraphs: 🤲🏽four start rating.

ps: if you liked this book I think you would enjoy everyone in this room will someday be dead which reminded me on the overall feeling, the themes of social exploration and character dynamics plus it’s super dupper funny.
