Twisted Threads by Kaylin McFarren
5.0
Twisted Threads by Kaylin McFarren is volume four in her Threads series. In this book, we are immediately thrown into the deep with Akira. She has just completed another mission and is cleaning up the aftermath of the job. Soon she is tasked with a new mission. She is to kill her boss's sister's murderer or her life will be the penance that she pays for her failure. First, she must figure out who is the murderer, but she will need to get close to the nephew of Sara and Paul to learn who the killer possibly is. Now the question remains, will she be able to succeed or will new path open for her to take?
Twisted Threads by Kaylin McFarren is the first book that I have read by this author. I have at least one of the books in this series but have not had the time to read it yet. After reading this book, however, I intend to go back and start from the beginning. Right from the beginning, the author hooks me into the story. This book immediately becomes hard to put down. It is fast paced, very well balanced and with characters who pull you in.
There honestly isn't anything that I don't like about this book. Despite not having read any of the books previously in this series I was able to follow along with what is going on in the story and I really appreciate that.
I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. For those who have read the series to this point, I recommend reading this book. If you are new to the series, I still suggest you pick this book up. It's engaging and interesting.
