Broken is the second book in the Breaker Ridge series. This is not a standalone story and Torn, the first book in the series, needs to be read before Broken. 

Broken is the perfect title for this book. This book left me feeling broken so many times. From tears pouring down my face to fits of laughter to flat-out rage, this story was an absolutely heartbreaking emotional roller coaster. I happen to love stories that break my heart and I highly recommend this series to anyone else who does too.

I loved all the angst, romance, spice, and heartbreak in the first book and Broken takes those to another level. I really enjoyed the multiple POVs. I loved exploring the story and relationships through the eyes of the four main characters that I fell in love with in the first book. 

Jet, Tucker, Annie, and Izzy are faced with so many new challenges, as well as some lingering old ones, that really test their relationships. I love seeing the unconditional love the four of them have for each other. I love Jet so much. He gives some of the best advice, that Tucker a lot of the time really needs to hear. 

After a very emotional end to this story (I cried through the last fifty pages), it ends on a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to see what book three has in store for this found family of characters.
