Rereading this recently brought back wonderful memories of reading it as a child and being exposed to the world of space travel and other planets and science fiction. Fascinating to me that it was written before (1954) the first man in space and fun that the adults think David and Chuck imagined the whole adventure (adults can be so frustrating that way!).
