Had to be bought, if only because of the other books about the engaging Bear Family - but this is more than “just another” text: all three bears have hard days, and all find a resolution together. Strong, warm, supportive family messages with Jill Murphy’s brilliant sense of prose and keen eye for detail: and as a final picture one of the best “caring dad” pictures I’ve ever seen.
