This was a free read for me via the prime reading I get with my family's amazon prime membership. If it hadn't been because it was free and a short read- I probably never would have read this book! I'm glad I did though, it was a super short read to break my reading slump but it surprisingly packed an emotional punch. I generally have a love/hate relationship with standalone novellas, but I immersed myself pretty quickly in Alice Hoffman's writing. I'd recommend to all!
