His Last Christmas in London by Con Riley
4.5
4.5 stars
Such a beautiful emotional romance! It's a short novel but the story is so very well developed that nothing is missed.
Ian and Guy are the definition of soulmates: they deeply understand each other and they have an intense connection that is difficult to ignore.
I loved that Ian, despite being totally in love with Guy, still made the right choice for himself; I loved that Guy could talk about his late husband without making Ian feel like a replacement; I liked how their falling in love was very emotional but not angsty.
The only thing that prevented me from giving five full stars was the lack of dialogues: I needed for them to talk more, I feel like some conversations were too rushed.
I hope to read Seb and Pat's story soon, they were great supportive friends and I need their Hea too.
Highly recommended
