This book was not my jam, in concept yes, RH, mafia, badass FMC sure sure sure. I think what threw me off was some of the writing describing Emilia actually made me question whose gaze this was written for (as in it was written imo from the male gaze and it was a little jarring). It wasn’t as far as the corny excerpt of “she titted across the room titillatingly” but you get the gist.
