Kate Quinn writes the best historical fiction books, told from multiple POVs. Set in a communist-seeking obsessed Washington during the 1950s, I found the period of history fascinating. Quinn’s writing is inspired and draws you in. I was quickly hooked by the mystery and the members of the Briar Club. Each of the characters is very different but wonderful in their own way. Their friendships are the centre of the book. Just wonderful. Perfect historical fiction.
