The Light Keeper by Christina Wallace
5.0
I listened to the audiobook of this story and the narration is enchanting and creative. You get to hear the range of emotions from all characters, the sassiness from Sarah the little sister, the sarcasm and annoyance from Yara, the menacing threats from Christo, the naivety and bravery from Isaac, and the Mischief from all the fairies.
It's well paced, filled with fun and adventure, and at the end of each chapter it leaves you wanting more and to know what happens next.
This is a fantastic Audiobook for this fun filled YA adventure story of fairies, mischief, magic, friendships and courage.
This story has a great range of magical creatures, involves lots of drama, mystery and secrets, the discovery of hidden powers, and dips into fairy lore. It's a creative coming of age story, with lots of twists and revelations in the second half of the book.
A great story for all ages to enjoy.

*Reluctant Heroes
*Dire stakes
*Hidden identity
*Creative Foreshadowing
