The Space Between Us by Melanie Summers is the first book I have read. I found it refreshing to read a story about an enemies-to-lovers relationship between a billionaire, Ty, and a S.E.T.I. researcher, Gwen. They meet during a farewell tour with Richard, Ty's business partner, and Gwen's boss, who has died unexpectedly. Ty didn't understand why Richard sponsored the various groups of researchers and scientists. Now that Richard is gone, these S.T.E.M researchers are trying to get Ty to fund their companies while on this jungle excursion together. Gwen and Ty have so much tension and chemistry. I loved their characters and moments together. I laughed many times but found this book to have deeply caring moments.
