"I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone. It's dark, funny, poignant, and deftly challenges your assumptions. A lot of people seem disgruntled that this book isn't solely about the dog but I enjoyed it a lot more once it opened up in the second half and became a series of vignettes held together by the dog's journey and his effect on them. I'll definitely be reading more by Dan Rhodes and I'm very grateful to have aquired this for free through the LT Early Reviewers. Not for sensitive dog owners though."
