I loved these prequel stories! The first two stood out to me as they set up the world for the rest of the series. The narrators were good here too and I think they fit the characters well. The third story about the wizard lost me a bit. I didn't feel as captivating as Dorothy's and Julia's. That being said it's so fun to read these after the entire series. It gives the perfect amount of backstory without revealing too much and I enjoyed reading them. The alternating perspectives are cool and I'm excited for more of the stories that are set in this world.
