I downloaded this book on Kindle Unlimited after seeing some recommendations on Instagram. It’s a mixed bag for me.
I thought the potential was great for the book, it had a very interesting premise. Unfortunately I didn’t find Theo or Hanna very likeable. Hanna and the ‘woe-is-me’-personality was very grating throughout the book and Theo was plain unlikeable at times. It went a bit further than dom/sub, he just came across as mean.
The plot was also a bit ‘all-over-the-place’ at times, between the grandfather, the stalker and the romance. I didn’t think it gelled well together. Maybe some reconciliation with the parents would have rounded the book off?
The spice was pretty intense! I found it enjoyable but I would definitely recommend giving the trigger warnings a look over before starting this book.
