The Caretaker by C.P. Harris
4.0
Heartbreaking and beautiful.
I loved this story, the memory loss trope is one of my favorites when done well.
This one reminded me of The Vow, the Channing Tatum movie, which I love too. Except this book tugged at my heartstrings painfully, the way the move couldn’t.
Two men, betrayed in the worst possible way, found solace in each other. The way they found themselves again was beautiful, the way they loved will be in my mind forever.
Trigger warning: infidelity (not between the main characters), divorce, death of a child.
Also their names were a little funny, Noon and Solace? Took me a while to take them seriously.
