I tossed and turned with this rating but despite general consensus, I loved IG. The start was hard to get into but once you get used to it, the world sucks you in. The state of the world and ramifications of Darrow’s actions in the main trilogy make this book addictive. I was nervous about the POVS but I loved the pacing and the new characters and what they brought to the table. They kinda outshine Darrow’s chapters. THE POLITICS and more lore from the Rim and their Iron Golds… phew this book was good. Pierce def stepped it up.
