Picks up from where Season one of the show left off and sheds some light on the pair of mysterious suited men and the whereabouts of Officer Dobson who is "left for dead" at the end of episode one. It also seems to be a good bridge between the show and the movie without really giving anything away.However not much character development. I think it explains why Shepard Book and Lady Inora aren't in the movie with the two deciding to move on from crew serenity to lead their own lives. I haven't watched the serenity movie yet but it's made me feel hopeful that the movie will answer all my burning questions and finally leave me with some semblance of closure.
Good read for any fire fly fan.
