Finally finished it i gotta say thats the longest it's ever taken me to finish a novel but i think in part thats was because i felt so strongly for the characters that each cut the warden took at their psyche....their souls was like a cut to my own i really felt like i was afraid for them for myself because i very much felt as if i was there in that wicked sanatorium with them i was afraid of the end of how it would end if the warden would win but more than that i was also afraid of the story ending and having to say goodbye to kay and ricky because i loved them so much but i can say i loved the ending it was a good ending for them and im happy for them im sad to say good bye to them but im happy knowing they are happy my only real regret from reading this is that I didn't see warden Crawford get what was coming to him and this stories over and ricky and kays story has begun off the pages and into their own lives and happiness and now its as i always say its time to start my next adventure but i will say this Madeleine Roux has once again delivered another masterpiece that is pure genius
