10000000/5✩ - all of these books are just a whole experience that deserves all of the stars in the entire universe, every single universe.

This book is more about Auren and taking her power back and becoming the strong person everybody else knows she can be. And we get a lot more of Slade's back story now. Where he came from, why he is in Orea, etc. And his story is so powerful too and I love who he is still becoming. This one is spicier and with much higher stakes now that the kingdoms are all against Auren and Rip by association. And of course Malina is being used again and making dumb choices. I still am unsure if I hate her at this point or feel really bad for her. I'm still undecided, i'll let you know after I finish Gold. lol.

But, I adore everything about this book, she's thick asf, so it took me longer than normal to finish her, but she is worth every single page, every word, every letter and punctuation mark. Don't even talk bad about this series is my presence or you can't sit with us. β™‘
