Sarah Beth Durst!!! The author that you are! Okay so this book starts with Kiela and Caz realizing that they are burning the library where they work. They barely escape with their lives and five crates of books and make it to Kiela’s childhood home where the entire book takes on the coziest cozy fantasy vibe.

To make a long story short this was the easiest 5 stars that I’ve given all year. I was literally in bed with a nightlight trying to finish this book at 2am because I just couldn’t put it down. I was totally transported to the small town and the characters were so full of life. I had a fantastic time and I haven’t felt that overtaken by a fantasy in a minute.

If you liked the secret society of irregular witches, legends and lattes, or the house in the cerulean sea but craved more peace then I highly recommend this book.
