The Snowman by Jo Nesbø

Spoiler alert!!! ************************************************************************************************************************************I was disappointed in this, it's supposed to be a crime classic and the author indulged in the thriller trope I HATE the most. Multiple fake out endings. It just makes it look like the author couldn't figure out and ending, and it makes the characters look really stupid. Most of the fake out suspects were really stupid. One fake ending happened halfway through the book, what was the point ? At the halfway through the book, we know that's not the right guy. Another suspect was a woman, the crimes were CLEARLY committed by a man, they were vicious, and personal and committed against a specific type of woman. It's a man. Another issue? The type of victim had to be identified through specific information, it wasn't something that could just be known, meaning they should have kept their suspects focused on persons connected to health care who had access to their personal health info. Most of their suspects had no such access, which means yeah. The author made Harry and his colleagues look extremely stupid and wildly accusing anyone even remotely connected with the case. Uggh. Like I said, so disappointed. What a sloppy ending.
