Flinging It by G Benson

4.0

I really enjoyed this book.
Though I'm not always a fan of the secret affair genre, this book plays it out nicely.
It's remedied by the fact that the husband, Alec, is an outright jerk. Albeit that shouldn't really be seen as a good excuse, it is in this case.
The flow of the book was really good, i never felt like i was stuck at a point and I just plowed through it unashamedly in a couple of days.
It's full of angst (love to hate it kinda situation) but it's also filled with characters you can actually relate to.
From mildly insecure Cora who's stuck milling about in an icy relationship, to Frazer a confident, happy to be alone with her fish woman, and all the diverse friends and family in between.
It's a refreshing easy read from Benson, with also a fictional programme that you'll wish you actually saw in your community.
