I reach for Emily Henry when I want a fun read that doesn’t make me think too hard. But dang it if she didn’t tug in a few family trauma abandonment heart strings with this one. I think it was a good blend of spice and character development but sometimes it did feel like maybe she was trying a bit too hard. Regardless, I found myself cheering for these characters and really enjoying this book. Also I want to be a librarian when I grow up next time
