I love short chapters, but this is going too fast. I need time to process what just happened and not brush things off. In one chapter, the place they got trapped is called noradz, the most cleanest building in the city however, they saw filli as a rat and wants to sentence Leif barda and Jasmine to death but first they have to draw a card out of the cup to determine their fate. This is what basically happened

Lief: Oh no, two cards are deaths. Oops, I dropped one in the fire. I guess you should know what I had in my hand if you look in the cup

The leader: Oh, you got the life card, and in my hand is a death card. Ok, you can live.

LIKE MA AM, WHERE IS THE SUSPENSE??? WHY DID YOU LET IT SLIDE. DRAG IT OUT JUST A LITTLE BIT. I know this is targeted towards young children who want to get into fantasy without hurting their brain, but at least extend this bit just a little
