I really liked this novel for introducing me to some Korean mythology, with the tale(tails haha) of the gumiho (nine-tailed fox), the dokkaebis (goblins) and the bujeok magic (talismans). The story of the novel felt a little predictable at first, but I was pleasantly surprised by some of the twist and turns it took! However, I have to say, I wouldn't recommend it for the romance, because despite everything, I didn't feel any chemistry between the protagonists. A good read reader for the lovers of fantasy though, and its great to explore less Eurocentric myths!!
