Two things about Ms. Cowles: she will always bring the heat and she will always bring the cringy nicknames names! This was the third book in the ~Sparrow Falls~ series. Each of these books there’s a damsel in distress and a troubled noble macho man who swoops in to save the day. Broken Harbor definitely wasn’t lacking on the popular trope front. We had a hockey player, crazy ex husband and the single mom trifecta thing going. Was it sappy? Yes. Did I cringe a few times? Sure. Will I keep reading each book she releases in this series? Yup!!
