Plum by Cate C. Wells
Binging this series and loving it.
I've just read a stripper memoir and so this book hit different.
It was not my favourite relationship, I like the hooker - millionaire dynamic once in a while but it's difficult to build a real relationship after. (The fact hat they had a similar background made it work for me, even if his moody ass was a bit much). What I liked were the characters, especially the mmc past and the fmc present (she had a rough youth, which is talked about but not in detail, the 0.5 book in this series was a bit difficult to read for me whereas this one was not)
The hero was a bit too much at times and his big dick energy was a bit unrealistic but also delicious. I ended up really appreciating how his relationships with his brother and father ended up.
This book started with a bang, messiness and craziness at the strip club. Then they were going out and it was uncomfortable (not in a bad way) to see it from her pov and his hot and cold reactions. Then they settled and it was chill. And then bam: messiness again and hurt (he acted badly, but I see why) and then the happy ending :)
A solid book
Now I want to read Forty's book!
