✨Initial Thoughts✨
This book was so much fun! I read it around Valentine’s Day and it was perfect! It has so many of my favorite tropes plus the characters are so endearing. The stakes are low and the spice is high and if you’re like me and suffering from the winter blues or just need a break from world events, this is the perfect solution.
Calla accidentally crashes her spacecraft on a random moon. She is rescued from a group of raiders by Vos who lives close by where the crash happened. Calla is extremely injured and almost dies, but Vos heals her and cares for her. They find out they are true mates pretty early on, but because of Calla’s traumatic childhood, she is weary of trusting anyone enough to settle down. Together, they find love and trust.

✨Pros✨
  • Fated Mates - on of my favorite tropes
  • He saves her life and takes care of her - another favorite micro trope.
  • I love how Calla and Vos find comfort and trust like they never experienced before with each other.
  • This was so delightfully spicy.
  • Low stakes. It was great to read this during a mentally stressful time in my life. It brought so much joy.

✨Cons✨
  • No notes. This was just plain fun.
