The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak
5.0
a day after reading it
i meant to write a review for this yesterday but apart from said workload i have been bombarded with, i too find myself struggling to find the right words to describe this book and how it made me feel. time and time again i find myself speechless by the beauty and power that emanates from this gorgeously profound book. elif shafak is an exceptional storyteller and i’m glad to have had the island of missing trees to be my first introduction to shafak’s highly acclaimed writing
