Casey McQuiston had done it again! This was everything I wanted and more, a truly spectacular queer rom com with a twist.
Reading this was a roller coaster of emotions. I laughed out loud and bawled my eyes out. It’s not often that I see myself in characters, but I related to August in a number of ways, so I was invested in her and Jane’s story from page 1.
McQuiston writes some of the most lovable and unique characters I’ve come across, and I’m furious that I’ll never get to meet them in real life. By the end of the book they all felt like family, and they need to be protected at all costs!
This book was witty and beautifully written. Also, sexy as hell. The humor, the tension, the spice. Just perfect.
