I went into this book knowing exactly two things about it.
1) going by the blurb alone, it was not my type of book
2) everyone I know of who read this book, recommended it

I was so worried I wouldn't like it. But I LOVED it, right from the start. This is a powerful book. It made me so mad, it made me happy, and it made me want to cry. So honestly a big thanks to BookTok for convincing me to read this
