I really enjoyed this book. I liked the book better than the movie but did enjoy the movie. I cried a few times during the book. There's just something about all the details the movie can't get. This was a good reminder about perseverance and morals. It also reminded me that my dogs are getting old. Those dogs see so much of our lives. Sometimes with the chaos of life and kids I forget to slow down and give them some extra scratches.
