Many of the people I follow on the internet rose up this past fall to promote this book, and I had to investigate and see who exactly @thenester was. I finally got this book from the library, and although Myquillyn and I don’t share the same style, I think we share some of the same style rules and reading her articulate them so clearly made some things just cement in my head. Her order of decorating makes so much sense with how I want my room to look, but I have definitely done things out of order to my detriment in the past.

This book has me super pumped to decorate my new house SLOWLY to make sure I love everything I put in it. I am currently ruminating on Myquillyn’s suggestions and filling up my Pinterest boards with inspiration photos.
