I can’t believe that I’ve put off reading this book for so long. I love the movie adaptation and I know that Adams has the same dry and witty humor as Pratchett but for some reason, I had convinced myself that this book would be difficult and long winded. It wasn’t. This is the first in five novels and I enjoyed every ridiculous second of the wild adventure undertaken by Arthur and friends after the fully planned out yet still unexpected destruction of Earth. Definitely recommend picking this up and can’t wait to continue the series!
