Reborn - Jaymin Eve ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was one of the best endings to a trilogy I have ever read. I ate this book up because I was left on an ugly cliffhanger. I honestly needed to know how will this end.
One thing that made me happy beyond reason is how the author handled the powers of the main character. I hate it when you spend the entirety of a series building up the strength and powers of the main character, only for them to lose them in the final battle.
Jaymin Eve did the complete opposite with Mera. She took her and gave her all the power she could take, and she handled it like a pro. It made me ecstatic!
Another thing that is worth mentioning is the mate bond. The only time I don't mind mates and soul connection is when it comes to shifter romances. It felt natural in this series, and I also liked that both sides of the mate bond were evenly matched in all aspects of their lives.
Of course, I have to mention how the characters were all crafted! Jaymin Eve made me like even the characters I hated because they were all written so well. I like badass characters, and there were plenty of them. There were the ones I deeply hated and those who I loved. All written beautifully.
I have to mention one thing I didn't like about this novel. The beginning. And I understand why it happened, but in my opinion, it took up more of the story than necessary. It also might be the reason why the ending felt a bit rushed.
In conclusion, I liked this series. It was more than needed change in what I read on a day to day basis. I gave Reborn 4/5 stars. I would rate this whole series 3.75/5 stars. I feel like the second novel was a bit weaker than the rest but other than that, I enjoyed myself. Also, I will be reading the stand-alones at some point, so stay tuned for that.
And last but certainly not least, I have to mention the audiobooks. If it is your cup of tea (or coffee
