The Keeper by Aimee Nicole Walker

5.0

There’s a lot at stake here.  Possibly waiting years to be together vs. the bad guys going free. Both seem like horrible prospects for Sherrif Seth Burke and Reuben Sanchez.

So to say their relationship needs to be kept on the down low is an understatement. As is the pull they feel for each other. Even as people start to find out, they can’t walk away. Their attraction and pinning is off the charts and you can feel how deep it runs.

There’s definitely a suspense element coming from multiple directions to keep you on your toes and highlight the risks involved.  Not only do you have the Cult, Salvation Anew, a plot line that has threaded through all the books, but you also have an old case involving Seth’s cousin.

And you get a lot of great cameos of our favourite town folks.
