Not loving this is totally my fault, not the book's! It delivered exactly what it said it would, it's just not really to my liking. I don't love following music lovers / musicians so I really struggled with the long story in the middle. In general, I struggled with the vignette style because I could not keep the characters straight - maybe from lack of distinction but also from lack of my personal interest.
