The Huntress by Kate Quinn
5.0
Immediately after reading "The Alice Network," I preordered this book and was not disappointed. I read it nonstop on six-hour flight and, despite being jetlagged, stayed up late to finish when I got home --take that, social media attention span!
Quinn writes strong female characters in a book about finding your strength and killing your fears. I love how she weaves three women's stories together and creates drama and excitement from it. I also love how she makes the main antagonist human and complex; you can admire her, feel sorry for her, and be disgusted by her all at once, just as we can with real people.
This goes in the To Be Re-Read pile.
