I laughed and cried and mostly held my breath at the beautiful writing and characters in this story. There are many sentences that I re-read just because they hit me right in the heart. Britt-Marie is complicated but not, like most of us and the town of Borg has a heart that needs to be held up to the light. Britt-Marie Was Here will stay with me for a long time.
