This was such a sweet story about how two teenagers both danced around their feelings for one another, until they figured it out as adults….well eventually. The found family was so amazing in Better Than Friends, and watching all these people around Olive who loved her even her absentee parents (in their own way) . I loved how every single person in this book had amazing banter, even sweet old Gram. The flash backs to the past definitely helped give context to the story and filled in questions I had. Noah was a low key golden retriever who didn’t to want to let anyone close and our girl Olive just wanted stability. We get our HEA and a super sweet surprise in the epilogue. If you are in the mood for a sweet, small town, second chance RomCom then Better Than Friends should be your next read.
