The Halfling Saga is one of my favorite series and this third book is my favorite so far! I am always so impressed with how this fantasy series connects so seamlessly to real world issues. As Keera becomes stronger and more powerful throughout the series, she still has flaws she is trying to overcome. But in book 3 we see how overcoming her vices and grief can be affected by having a support system. Melissa Blair really shines in writing beautiful characters that all feel unique and steal your heart. I personally appreciate her different takes on strong women who may not always be likable, but I love them. The new side romances we are introduced to in this book are everything to me, and I am excited to see those grow. Photos cannot do this beauty of these covers justice. The subtle shine on the matte background. . . stunning!
